The OMEGA™ SPEED BASE is made with a new blend of compressed ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. Sintered for speed, this base is porous, absorbing more wax to wick longer and ride faster. And by fast, we mean – FAAAAST. Plus full 360 deg steel edges.
The DYNAWEAVE configuration features a resin/glass application borrowed from the marine industry, which yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing us to decrease the wood core thickness. The main focus is to save wood core weight by increasing resin performance. This means you get a lighter board while achieving higher energy return. This new weave fiberglass combination features Triax glass on the top of the core and biax beneath, creating more response while increasing strength and durability. Combine this layup with one of the many additives we have available and you get a high performing board tailored to meet your style of riding. The PANDA CORE™ was built for a high performance return of energy in a lightweight and versatile core. From razor sharp turns on demand, to huge ollies, this core was engineered with all-terrain technical freestyle riding in mind. Comprised of our P2 Superlight™ core and enhanced with inlaid Bamboo Power Rods, this high-density core is strong enough to meet the needs of the all-terrain customer while saving considerable weight.
Shape + Flex
With CAPiTAs Flat Kick design technology we’ve tightened the tip profile radius that blends the shoulders of the board into the tip and tail height on reverse camber boards. The tight tip radius in conjunction with tuned blend zones allows you to have a forgiving easy to ride reverse camber board that is still responsive and quick during edge-to-edge transitions. This also creates a flat tip and tail which increases jibbing stability and also helps the board plane on top of powder creating float and control. Plus the This revolutionary Freeride FK all-mountain shape provides the best of both worlds. It has a raised camber platform through the inserts to retain high-speed edge hold through variable terrain, and elevated contact points to land and float in powder.
